I tag #not homestuck, because there’s not very much of it.

I will inconsistently tag #homestuck only to broadcast the content to people surfing the tag.  This blog is 90% Homestuck.

Avoiding things you want to avoid

I put cut tags on any nsfw images that cross the swimsuit line and any content that’s likely to be viscerally upsetting, in addition to tagging.

I try to tag for commonly problematic triggers and issues. Please let me know if I’ve failed to tag any of the following, or if there are other tags you’d like me to start using.

As this is a Homestuck blog, I will not tag for slurs voiced by fictional characters. If real people are using slurs, I’ll tag for the appropriate *ism.

I will not tag for swearing. I will sometimes post images of people in sexual positions without a cut (but still tagged NSFW) as long as nipples and genitalia are covered.

I usually do not put trigger warnings at the top of posts, since tumblr savior is the most streamlined way of handling that these days and I don’t tend to post anything horrific or deliberately evocative. If I put a trigger warning at the top, the issue is going to be a major part of the content.
